500 SONGS FOR KIDS kicks off May 1st, 2008, at Smith's Olde Bar, where once again 500 DIFFERENT ARTISTS will hit the stage to benefit children's charities. Get ready to sing and scream your lungs out for 10 marathon nights as this time we bring you...

THE 500 GREATEST SING-A-LONG SONGS OF ALL TIME!

So what's this countdown all about? These are the songs that connect us all - the songs that make up the soundtrack to our lives. This countdown will cover all genres and decades of music, and will include music from all sources - TV, movies, everything! Some songs will be obvious, others will not. There will be songs you loved for just a day and songs you'll love forever; songs you sang as a kid and songs your parents sang growing up; even the song you absolutely hated, but your freshman year roommate sure loved. For ten nights in May, we'll sing them all together.

Get ready to open your heart, your mind, and your lungs, for the 10 most rocking musical days of the year. 500 SONGS FOR KIDS will benefit SONGS FOR KIDS FOUNDATION and an unprecedented number of children's organizations with whom we are proud to work.
